The massive rim fire has brought the Yosemite and Sequoya Parks back into full view. Even if you have only seen them once in your lifetime, it is one of the great spiritual experiences.

Of course the National Parks are all closed because of the Fed Gov Shutdown. It is interesting that the splash page says that the web site is closed as well. Gov shut down shouldn't affect that, should it?
